1948年生于浙江绍兴，首都师范大学美术学院副教授，硕士研讨 生导师。
中国美术家协会会员，中国油画学会会员。2005年，美国纽约州立大学布法罗学院访问学者。

1989年，于中国艺术家画廊举办个人画展。
1992年，油画“肖像”入选中国美术家协会所举办“中国油画艺术展”，作品为中国美术协会收藏。
1992年，水彩画“生命与水”入选“第二届全国水彩画展”；
1992年，油画“构成”应邀参加大台中美术会在台湾举办的92年“两岸美术观摩展”，并录于“《两岸美术观摩作品集》”（繁荣工商专业书店）；
1992年，油画“线条”、“构成”录于《92中国美术家年签》《国际文明 出版公司》；
1994年，油画“动物世界”等八幅作品应邀参加有国际艺苑美术基金会与北京市美术家协会联合举办之“七人油画约请 展”；
1994年，油画“流动的水”入选中国美术家协会所举办“第二届中国油画展”，作品录于《第二届中国油画作品集》（广西美术出版社）；
1995年，油画“流动的水”选入中日联合，于日本东京“日中敌对 会馆”举办之“古代 中国油画展”，并录入作品集《古代 中国油画展》；
1995年，油画“太空”录于画册《中国美术书法界名人名作博览》；
1999年，油画“山墙”、“盆花”发表于中国美术家协会油画艺术委员会主编的《中国油画》
1999年，油画“抽象”发表于中国艺术研讨 院主办的国家级核心学术期刊《中华文明 画报》；
2001年，部分作品编辑出版个人作品集《中国古代 美术家作品集—杨悠明油画作品》；
2002年，丙烯画“白发老人”发表于《中国美术》第四期
2002年，丙烯画“古瓶新花”入选由中国美术家协会举办的全国美术作品展”；
2002年，丙烯画“母与子”入选北京市文学艺术界联合会主办之“北京市迎接中国共产党十六大召开美术、书法、摄影、民间艺术优秀作品”获优秀奖；
2002年，被世界华人艺术家联合会授予“世界华人杰出艺术家”称号。
2004年，丙烯画“转经的人”发表于《当代艺人》（香港亚太国际出版社）。
2005年，油画“肖像”发表于《中华翰墨丹青》画集。
2005年，丙烯画“藏女”发表于中国艺术类核心期刊《装潢 》第145期（中国装潢 杂志社），2006年，丙烯画“蓝色的花”发表于《美术》第164期，
2006年，丙烯画“藏女”“瓶花”等11幅作品发表于湖南文联主办的《艺术名流》第2期，2007年，丙烯画10幅发表于《中国画界》11期。
2008年，丙烯画《藏女》《不哭了》参加由中国美协，中国西藏学研讨 中心，首师大等主办的“灵感高原-当代西藏主题绘画约请 展”。
2012年，于德国举办个人画展——主题1 ：画匠；主题二：西藏岁月。其中画作《牧牛童》被魏布林根市政府收藏。
