吴子南(1934.10—2010.3)别名吴亦非。江东北 城人。擅长美术史论、艺术考古。前后 在苏州美专、华东艺术、西安美院学习。前后 在西安美院，陕西省革命博物馆、陕西省博物馆、东南 艺术研讨 所工作。现为江西师范大学美术系副教授。作品《孙思邈像》、《保卫延安》、《陈胜吴广起义》陈列于陕西省博物馆及革命博物馆。发表八大山人系列研讨 论文《八大山人诗十首试释》等。
吴子南教授不幸于2010年3月19日晚21点19分与世长辞，享年77岁。
