刘继成，1943年出生于阜阳市太和县，1962年毕业于安徽省艺术学院美术系，他长时间 从事书法、绘画及民间美术普及、创作和组织工作，特别 是推动了阜阳剪纸艺术的发展，是省级剪纸非遗传人，省工艺美术大师，中国剪纸学会副会长，同时是著名书画家，获得文明 部“群星奖”等全国多项奖项，他创作的《又添新粮仓》、《预备 出击》等十余幅年画，前后 由北京人民美术出版社和安徽美术出版社出版，全国发行百万余份，成为人物画创作的佼佼者。
