1957年12月出生于四川自贡。1984年7月毕业于四川美术学院工艺美术系染织美术设计专业，并留校任教。现任四川美术学院设计艺术学院教授、硕士生导师。设计艺术历史及理论、中外服饰史研讨 、中国美术家协会工艺美术艺委会委员、中国工艺美术学会理论委员会常务委员、中国工艺美术学会民间美术专业委员会副主任委员、重庆市非物资 文明 遗产保护协会副会长、重庆市美术家协会设计艺术委员会副主任委员、曾任第十二届全国美术作品展览艺术设计复评评委会委员、国家艺术基金评审专家。研讨 民间艺术，创新设计教育，从设计教育家到民艺守护者文明 寻脉，弘扬东北 民艺意趣。

Born in December 1957 in Zigong, Sichuan Province. In July 1984, he graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in dyeing and weaving art design, and remained in school as a teacher. He is currently a professor and tutor of master's degree in the School of Design and Art, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.
