胡君履湖南长沙人。擅长漫画。1951年考入华中艺专学习美术；1955年毕业到株州从事教育工作并开始美术创作；1986年调株州市文联任协会工作部主任。株州市美协主席。作品《专业 剧团趣事》、《羊毛出在羊身上》、《胎教》入选第七、八、九届全国美展；《春插情丝》入选1993全国漫画展。出版有《胡君履漫画选》。
