潘道生，男，1962年11月生于河南开封。1985年毕业于河南大学美术系并留校任教。1997年毕业于地方 美院第九届油画研修班。2004年9月调入苏州科技大学美术系。中国美术家协会会员，副教授。作品曾入选七届全国美展、八届全国美展优秀作品展；2008中国百家金陵油画展；第1 届、第二届、第三届全国水彩、粉画展、全国教师优秀作品汇展等。作品为韩国株式会社、中国对外展览公司等多家单位和个人收藏。

1986年《少女》（水彩画）入选“首届全国水彩、粉画展”；同年获“河南水彩、水粉画展”优秀奖；入选“中国水彩、水粉画展”在野 鲜展出，并为中国对外展览公司收藏。
