张冬峰，1958年2月出生，广东北 宁人，汉族。现为广西艺术学院教授、美术师范系主任，中国美术家协会会员，广西美术家协会常务理事。享用 国务院政府特殊津贴。1997获第三届广西文艺创作“铜鼓奖”；1994年，参加首届中国油画静物展获优秀作品奖，参加第八届全国美展获优秀作品奖；获广西首届中青年“德艺双馨”文艺家称号。
张冬峰的画是自然生命的完善 体现，画布上那些我们司空见惯的平凡风景里，有着蒿草的清香和泥土的低语，有着已 逝去的歌声和温润潮湿的乡村凌晨 。张冬峰出生于桂林市，1984年毕业于广西艺术学院美术师范系，现任广西艺术学院教授，中国美术家协会会员，中国油画学会会员，广西美术家协会常务理事，享用 国务院“政府特殊津贴专家”待遇。
1990年参加北京“中国首届风景油画约请 大展”；1992年在中国美术馆举办《张冬峰油画展》，油画《公园》被中国美术馆收藏；1998年10月受聘为《’98中国国际美术年——当代中国山水画、油画风景展》评审委员牞并有作品参加该画展；自1984年以来牞多幅作品发表或收入画册。1 些作品被美国、荷兰、新加坡等国家的人士购藏。
张冬峰坚持对广西亚热带的南方风景进行了多年的油画探索，终究 在把南方丘陵地区这1 平时被人们熟视无睹的、完全不成风景的风景画出了1 个新的天地。张冬峰不但在油画言语 上进行了成功的中国式的创造，还创造出1 种温润繁茂、简雅诗意的亚热带风景款式 ；他在风景画中着力表现的人文情感和人文精神，也已 远远超过了普通 风景画的界限，达到艺术言语 和人文理想和谐结合的很高境界，是当代南方风景画派的代表人物。
张冬峰的自叙也挺简朴：我，记不清本身 去过几次乡村集市！记不清农民额上的汗珠是如何淌下！记不清黝黑皮肤上1 根根皱纹是怎样的排列！我只记得他们很忙，很充实。为了今秋的收成，为了明春的种子……辛劳 啦，父老同乡 ！
