生于1943年8月8日，山东省龙口市人。
1980年地方 工艺美术学院研讨 生毕业并留校任教，现为清华大学美术学院教授、博士生导师、清华大学美术学院书法研讨 所所长，国家画院公共艺术院履行 院长。
1978年10月考入地方 工艺美术学院，师从祝大年、袁运甫先生，攻读装潢 绘画。1980年10月研讨 生毕业并留校任教，现为清华大学美术学院教授、博士生导师。

前后 发表论文1 百余篇，并有论文集《艺术帚谈录》行世。

 Graduate student of college of arts and crafts graduates in the center of 1980 and stay school teach, it is director of institute of calligraphy of academy of fine arts of university of adviser of professor of Tsinghua university academy of fine arts, doctoral student, Tsinghua now, national imperial art academy is communal and artistic the courtyard carries out a dean.
