2019年01月，任上海市美术家协会第八届顾问，上海市文学艺术界联合会副主席。

2019年1月16日，上海市文学艺术界联合会第八次代表大会召开，会议选出汪大伟等人为市文联副主席。

代表性作品有上海南京路下沉式广场设计、轨道交通七号线、八号线全体 设计、2010中国上海世博会世博会博物馆全体 设计、上海宝山国际民间艺术博览馆全体 设计等。

掌管 “海上文明 论坛”

2010年6月14日下午，由上海市文联主办的“海上文明 论坛”第三讲在上海宾馆开讲。全国政协副主席、著名经济学家厉无畏受上海市文联之邀以“历史文明 资源的开发利用”为题，作了两个小时的讲座，美术学院四十余位研讨 生参与了本次论坛。美术学院党委书记、履行 院长汪大伟教授掌管 本次论坛。厉无畏先生演讲结束后，在汪大伟教授的掌管 下，厉先生与观众进行了精彩的现场互动。

 Wangdawei graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts(now the China Academy of Fine Arts) in 1982. He majored in Chinese painting and entered the Shanghai University Academy of Fine Arts in the same year. He served as deputy director, director, and vice president of the Chinese Painting Department. He is currently the executive dean of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, the eighth advisor of the Shanghai Artists Association, and vice chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He has served as a member of the Higher Education Committee of the Ministry of Education for Art Design and a member of the Ministry of Education for Master of Arts. Director of the Chinese Artists Association and Chairman of the Shanghai Creative Design Workers Association. Since the 1990s, it has devoted itself to the research and exploration of digital art and public art. Its works have been widely used in the construction of Shanghai City Square, rail transit, and landscape renovation.

On December 6, 2018, Wangdawei served as the eighth advisor of the Shanghai Artists Association.

In January 2019, he served as the eighth advisor of the Shanghai Artists Association and vice chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

On January 16, 2019, the Eighth Congress of the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles was held. The meeting elected Wangdawei and others as vice chairmen of the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

Representative works include the design of Shanghai Nanjing Road sinking Square, the overall design of Rail Transit Line 7 and Line 8, the overall design of the 2010 World Expo Museum at the Shanghai World Expo, and the overall design of the Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Art Expo.

Hosting the "Maritime Culture Forum"

On the afternoon of June 14, 2010, the third lecture of the "Maritime Culture Forum" hosted by the Shanghai Federation of Literature was opened at the Shanghai Hotel. The vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a famous economist, Li Dauntless, was invited by the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Cultural Organizations to give a two-hour lecture on the "development and utilization of historical and cultural resources." More than 40 graduate students from the Academy of Fine Arts participated in this forum. Professor Wangdawei, Party Secretary and Executive Director of the Academy of Fine Arts, presided over the forum. After Mr. Li Dauntless's speech, under the chairmanship of Professor Wangdawei, Mr. Li had a wonderful live interaction with the audience.
