马凤棠，男(1914.9—2001.2)浙江省东阳市横店镇厦厉墅村人。擅长擅擅长 设计创作，各种雕法得心应手，雕镂精细。
14岁离乡去上海，在胞兄马凤郁的作坊里学雕花。1950年进地方 美院华东分院工作，历任中国美术家协会理事、美协浙江分会副主席、省民间美术研讨 室负责人，民间美术系副主任，从事木雕教学与创作，并竭力扶持东阳木雕的复元和复兴 。1962年，他出任民间工艺研讨 所副所长，主管全所业务，协助浙江省的次要 工艺厂开发新产品。
