王少军，河北河间人，1959年生于天津市。1982年地方 美术学院雕塑系本科毕业，获学士学位。同年就职河北画院从事专职雕塑创作。1999年调入地方 美术学院雕塑系任教。现为地方 美术学院雕塑系副主任、教授，中国美术家协会会员，中国雕塑学会常务理事、副秘书长。中国雕塑学会《雕塑家通讯》主编。

1993年荣获河北省政府"第5 届文艺复兴 奖"，并记三等功。

1997年创作《世纪老人-冰心》入选中国当代雕塑艺术展。
1997年创作《和平使者》入选第三届全国体育美术作品展，并被国际奥委会永世 收藏。
1998年荣获首届河北省"德艺双馨会员"荣誉称号。
1998年参加地方 美院雕塑系"抗战群雕"之1 《狂轰烂炸》的创作。
1998年创作七件作品，参加由"中国雕塑学会"主办的"《平台-98青年雕塑家作品展》"。

Wang Shaojun, a native of Hejian, Hebei Province, was born in Tianjin in 1959. In 1982, he graduated from Sculpture Department of Central Academy of fine arts with a bachelor's degree. In the same year, he worked in Hebei Academy of painting as a full-time sculptor. In 1999, he was transferred to the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of fine arts for teaching. Now he is the deputy director and professor of Sculpture Department of Central Academy of fine arts, member of China Artists Association, executive director and Deputy Secretary General of China Sculpture Society. Editor in chief of sculptor's newsletter of China Sculpture Society.

In 1984, Cao Xueqin's memorial was selected in the first national exhibition of urban sculpture design.

In 1984, Tai Hang's sister-in-law was selected into the sixth national art exhibition, won the first prize of Hebei art exhibition, and the second prize of Hebei Provincial Department of culture.

In 1987, he participated in the exhibition of "marathon" art works of Hebei painting academy, displaying more than 30 sculptures and paintings.

In 1990, the creation of "first love" was selected into the first Hebei sculpture exhibition and won the second prize.

In 1993, he created "the Olympic Games, a beautiful dream of mankind - the father of modern Olympic Games Coubertin" and was selected into the third national sports art exhibition, which was permanently collected by the International Olympic Committee.

In 1993, he was awarded the "fifth prize of literature and art revitalization" by Hebei provincial government, and made third-class contributions.

In 1994, he created Nie Rongzhen during the Anti Japanese War and won the excellent works award of the Eighth National Art Exhibition and the special prize of Hebei art exhibition.

In 1997, the creation of "century old man - Bingxin" was selected into China contemporary sculpture art exhibition.

In 1997, peace messenger was selected into the third national sports art exhibition and collected by the International Olympic Committee.

In 1998, he was awarded the honorary title of "member of virtue, art and double happiness" in Hebei Province.

In 1998, he participated in the creation of one of the "Anti Japanese war group sculptures" of the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of fine arts.

In 2003, he created (cooperated) sculpture "liberate all China" for China Military Museum.

In 2003, his works "James Joyce", "one in a thousand", "Miss C's new colorful hat" were selected into "today's China Art Exhibition".

In 2004, "love in the city" was selected into the 10th National Art Works Exhibition, and created the space monument "Yang Liwei" image (cooperation) for Huludao City, Liaoning Province.

In 2004, he created one of the large-scale group sculptures "August uprising" for "August 1 square" in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province.

In 2005, Guo Hongtao, the old Red Army in Northern Shaanxi, was created, and Ren Jingfeng, the Chinese Film Museum, was created.

In 2005, he created (cooperated) the commemorative image of kaishanfengweihan for Laos.

In 2005, he created (cooperated) memorial statues of Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping and Madame Bandaranaike for Sri Lanka.

In 2005, Cao Yu was created. Participated in the platform-2005 experimental portrait sculpture exhibition.
