刘力:男，汉族，生于1960年10月。
1985年毕业于东北 师范学院美术美术系油画专业；
1989年结业于地方 美术学院油画助教进修班；
2003年至2004年经国家留学基金委员会遴选，公派到俄罗斯莫斯科国立师范大学做访问学者；
现任贵州师范大学美术学院教授、绘画学科主任，贵州美术家协会会员、贵州画院特聘画家，作品多次参加全国、省级美术作品览、论文发表在各级报刊杂志上。
