1950年生于上海。1969年毕业于鲁迅美术学院附中，1983年结业于吉林艺术学院美术系油画专业。第九届、第十届吉林省政协委员，第七届吉林省文联委员，中国美术家协会理事，中国油画学会理事，吉林省美术家协会常务副主席，民革地方 画院理事，中国同泽书画研讨 院副院长，人民日报《民生周刊》书画院名誉院长，吉林省民革中山书画院名誉院长，国家1 级美术师。

1998年2月，赴美国洛衫矶访问、交流、举办展览，被授予洛衫矶蒙特利尔市荣誉市民称号。

2009年9月，在第5 届东北亚投资贸易博览会期间，油画作品《长白秋意》被蒙古国副总理耶贡布·恩赫包勒德收藏。

2013年10月，在广东东莞市举办《2013—唐明珍（东莞）国画、油画精品展》，展览由人民日报《民生周刊》书画院、东莞市文联共同主办。

 Born in Shanghai in 1950. He graduated from the attached middle school of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1969 and majored in oil painting in the Department of Fine Arts of Jilin Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. The 9th and 10th members of the CPPCC of Jilin Province, the 7th members of the Jilin Provincial Literature Federation, the director of the Chinese Artists Association, the director of the Chinese Oil Painting Society, the executive vice-chairman of the Jilin Artists Association, the director of the Central Painting Academy of the People's Revolution, the vice-president of the Tongze Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and the honorary president of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of People's Da Honorary Dean of Zhongshan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting in Jilin Province during the National Revolution, and a national first-class artist.

His works have participated in national art exhibitions, provincial art exhibitions and overseas art exhibitions for many times, and have won prizes for his works. The oil painting "Concept" was selected in 1988 for "China Small Oil Painting Exhibition" to be exhibited at foreign embassies; the oil painting "Flow" was selected in 1989 for "China Modern Oil Painting Exhibition" to be exhibited in Singapore; the propaganda painting "The World Is Yours" was selected in 1991 for "National Propaganda Painting Exhibition" to be exhibited in Shanghai; and the oil painting "Prayer" was selected in 1994 as "Hong Kong China". The Northeast Oil Painting Exhibition was exhibited in Hong Kong; the oil painting "Qing Porcelain Rose" was selected as the "Second China Still Life Oil Painting Exhibition" in 1994 in Beijing; the illustration "The Story of the Great Forest" was selected as the "Eighth National Art Exhibition" in 1994; and the oil painting "Early Morning" was selected as the "Chinese and Korean Body Art Exhibition" in 1997 in Seoul, Korea. Works have been collected; Oil painting "Memory of Autumn" was selected as "Chinese Oil Painting Art Exhibition" in Hangzhou in 2001; Oil painting "Good Days" was selected as "National Art Exhibition to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the Party" in 2001; Oil painting "Auspicious" was selected as "National Art Exhibition to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Speech" in 2002;《 Urban Forest Wall Girls was selected as "Hand in Hand with the New Century - the Third China Oil Painting Exhibition" in 2003; Oil Paintings "Mountain Chrysanthemum" and "Forget Me" were exhibited at the Fourth East Asian Art Exchange Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan in 2006, and their works were collected; Oil Painting "Urban Forest Wall Girls" was selected as "Outside the Great Wall of Huajing" in 2011.—— Invitational Oil Painting Exhibition of Our Native People; Oil Painting "Green Wall Girl" was selected as "Candlelight Brushwork - National Association of Arts Resident Cadres Works Exhibition" in 2011; Oil Painting "Zebra Line Girl" was selected as "Guandong Painting School - Chinese Painting, Oil Painting, Sculpture Creation Exhibition Jinjing Exhibition" in Beijing in 2011; Oil Painting "Zebra Line Girl" in 2011. His works have won more than 30 awards in past art exhibitions in Jilin Province. Works have been exchanged and exhibited in the United States, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries and regions, and works have been collected. In Fine Arts, Art Observation, Art Market, Chinese Art Garden, Art View Tide, Art Vision, Chinese Merchants-Art Investment, Art Talents, Art State, Huanya Art Weekly, Art Newspaper, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, Guangming Daily and Collection. National professional journals such as Tibetan Express and Investment Times publish albums, art works and commentary articles. Albums and works are included in many art dictionaries and art websites.

In February 1998, he visited, exchanged and held exhibitions in Los Angeles, USA, and was awarded the honorary citizenship title of Montreal, Los Angeles.

In September 2009, during the Fifth Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Fair, the oil painting Changbai Qiuyi was collected by Yegongbu Enkhbold, Vice Premier of Mongolia.

In October 2013, an Exhibition of Chinese Paintings and Oil Paintings of Tang Mingzhen (Dongguan) was held in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The Exhibition was co-sponsored by People's Daily, Minsheng Weekly Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and Dongguan Wenlian.
