党朝阳：1968年生于湖南，1992年毕业于湖南师范大学美术学院，2002年毕业于地方 美术学院油画系材料与表现工作室。现任教于湖南师范大学美术学院，副教授，硕士生导师。中国美术家协会会员，湖南省油画艺术委员会委员。作品曾多次入选国家级美展并获奖，被中国美术馆、地方 美术学院、台湾蜜雪儿艺术中心、香港博雅画廊等多家艺术机构收藏。代表作有《山痕系列》、《若隐若现系列》，出版《今日中国美术—党朝阳》个人作品集。
