英韬(1925.6-2012.3)，擅长漫画。1949年毕业于华北联合大学艺术学院美术系。曾在华北大学做研讨 生。留在北平军事管制委员会、文明 接管委员会美工队工作。历任《人民铁道报》编辑、记者，《人民日报》美术组编辑，《人民日报》文学艺术部副主任，《讽刺与幽默》主编。出版有《英韬漫画选》等。因病于2012年3月25日19时在北京去世，享年87岁。

1953年3月调《人民日报》工作。1976年曾在《美术》杂志短期工作。

四人帮倒台后，曾任全国美术工作小组副组长、办公室主任。

1978年调回《人民日报》任文艺部副主任。

1979至1996年任《讽刺与幽默》主编。

2012年3月25日19时因膀胱癌在北京逝世，享年87岁。

 Yingtao (June 1925 - March 25, 2012), formerly named Yang Yunsheng, male, Tianjin native, graduated from the Department of Social Science of Furen University in Peiping, and graduated from the Political College and the College of Literature and Arts of North China United University.

In 1949, he worked in the Art Team of the Cultural Takeover Committee of the Beiping Military Commission. In August of the same year, the People's Railway Daily was transferred from the Ministry of Railway to the People's Daily in March 1953. In 1976, he worked for Art Magazine for a short time. After the fall of the Gang of Four, he served as vice-chairman and office director of the National Art Working Group. In 1978, he was transferred back to People's Daily as deputy director of the Ministry of Literature and Art. From 1979 to 1996, he was editor-in-chief of Satire and Humor.

On March 25, 2012, at 1900 hours, Yingtao died in Beijing at the age of 87.

Over the past 60 years, Mr. Yingtao, who has always stood at the forefront of the news front, is a model for cartoonists.

His cartoons, more vividly than satirical poems, use distinct thinking power of love and hate to puncture, denounce corruption and misrepresentation, deceive the world and steal fame. Yingtao's works criticize backwardness, criticize foolishness, uphold the right and dispel evil spirits, and make the masses happy after reading.
