余戈，男，生于1967年3月，江苏南京人。南京师范大学美术学院文学硕士，研讨 方向：油画创作与美术理论。师承中国美术家协会水彩画艺术委员会委员、南京师范大学*名画家高柏年教授、原南京师范大学美术系主任章文熙教授。
现为国家二级美术师。江苏省戏剧学校副教授，江苏省美术家协会会员，江苏省油画学会会员。省级美术作品展并获奖。作品被《美术观察》《中国油画》及中国大型《当代油画》系列丛书风景专辑2《艺术百家》《美术界》、《美术报》等国内核心学术媒体介绍，并有多篇美术论文发表于全国中文核心期刊。
