王忠弟(1950.10—)四川广安人，生于贵阳，自幼喜画，重视 写生，上世纪70年代开始美术创作，1980年进修于贵州大学艺术学院油画专业。贵州省贵阳市火车站美术员。1985年入中国美术家协会会员，1988年获贵州省自学成才奖，1989年编入《中国当代美术家名人录》，1990年编入《中国美术年鉴》。1992年编入《中国美术辟典》。
其作品多次在各级报刊、杂志、画册上发表。多年的绘画，逐渐 构成 本身 的绘画风格，其作品多表现于贵州高原的风土人情、自然纯朴。多次参加全国各级展览并获奖。作品有《高原之歌》、《山花》，钢笔画《花溪之夜》等。
1979年《铁路机车的发展》入选全国科普展。1980年《高原之歌》入选第二届全国青年美展，1982年《山花》入选四川省油画展，四川省职工美展1 等奖，全国铁路第三届美展优秀奖，入选全国职工美展，1985年《森林珍贵动物》获全国林业科普展三等奖，1985年《华溪之夏》入选第六届全国美展，《黎明》入选全国职工美展，《夕照娄山》获全国铁路美展二等奖，1995年《滇黔咽喉》获全国职工美展二等奖，1997年《笛声万里关山路》获贵州省美展二等奖，东北 铁路美展1 等奖，后期的作品更趋于成熟，多幅作品被海内外人士所收藏。
