王祖江，1947年2月出生，民族汉。山东烟台人。毕业于青岛教育学院艺术系、地方 工艺美院师资班。现供职于青岛大学美术学院副教授、系中国美术家协会会员，中国服装设计师协会会员。
擅长写意花鸟画、写意人物画。
美术作品曾多次参加各级美展和高等院校零碎 美术作品展览并多次获奖，美术作品春色被收入《世界美术集》，传略被收入《中国名人大字典》、《中国艺术家名人录》。
曾出版《装潢 艺术》等专著。
1998年秋为中华人民共和国出入境检验检疫局设计标志、徽章（全国范围征稿）被评为金奖，并被中华人民共和国国务院批准采纳了本设计方案。
