1969年生于重庆开县。中国美术家协会会员，湖北工业职业技术学院艺术设计系副教授，湖北十堰美术家协会秘书长。擅长漆画、中国画。本科毕业于四川美术学院、硕士毕业于清华大学美术学院。曾参加第九、十、十二届全国美展和第1 、二、三届全国漆画展。曾获第九届全国美展优秀奖、首届全国漆画展优秀奖、从河姆渡走来-第二届国际古代 漆艺展二等奖。作品载于《美术》、《装潢 》、《今日重庆》、《湖北日报》等刊物及大型专业画册，并为厦门美术馆、湖北美术馆、湖北美术院、马来西亚艺术机构和收藏家收藏，曾应邀赴韩国、越南、德国、法国、荷兰等六国进行艺术交流展览和考察。
