笔名金易，本籍 广东潮阳两英鹤联乡人，1949年2月出生于上海，1979年在上海开始漫画创作，（早年习油画），1965年进上海内燃机厂任工会宣扬 干事，1979年开始漫画创作；1983年由上海调入深圳特区报任美编，后任美术组组长，创作勤奋，曾多次获国际漫画奖，省1 等奖，全国奖及各类奖励多项。1993年国务院授予政府特殊津贴，1996年作品“截错了”被选作全国高考语文试题。作品《真棒》入选第七届全国美展；《围观》入选华通杯93中国漫画展；《尊重人才》入选中国漫画展。
