吴汉怀，现为中国美术家协会会员．现为攀枝花市美术家协会主席。1986年作品油画《三月》《小憩》参加省记协、省美协联合举办的四川省首届报纸美术编辑作品展览，其中油画《小憩》被评为优秀作品;1987年作品油画《炉光》《激战以后 》被省美协入选参加省首届油画展览。
该同志1975年12月在攀钢动力厂参加工作，1985年毕业于东北 大学美术学院油画专业（原东北 师范大学），同年7月到攀枝花钢铁集团公司攀钢日报社任美术编辑。1995年6月调攀枝花学院艺术学院工作至今，从事任专业教学、科研、行政管理工作、任艺术系主任、艺术学院院长。2008.09--2009.07在地方 美术学院油画系第1 工作室研修油画1 年。[1]
